John to replace Hurman in Bhansali’s ‘Chenab Gandhi’

One of the most creative directors in Bollywood, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has reportedly decided to dump Hurman Baweja as the lead actor for his upcoming venture ‘Chenab Gandhi’. Grapevine has it that Bhansali has made up his mind to cast hottie John Abraham in place of Hurman for his much awaited flick.

According to our source, Hurman was roped in for the film last year. But after the debacle of ‘Love Story 2050’ and then ‘Victory’, the filmmaker seems to have given his decision a serious thought, as he is now considering John Abraham for the lead role.

If John becomes the lead actor in the film, this is going to be actor's fourth film with Big B after Viruddh, Aetbaar and Babul.

‘Chenab Gandhi’, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan, is being made on a budget of Rs35 crores.
