Jesus Luz dumped former girlfriend Krishna for Madonna

London, March 04: 'Queen of Pop' Madonna's new love interest Brazilian model Jesus Luz who is 28-years her junior, dumped a model, Krishna Siqueira aged 20, for the singer.

Siqueira dated Luz for five months before he hooked up with Madonna after shooting for a magazine spread with her in December last year, reported the Mirror.co.uk.

But the model insisted that she has gotten over the split adding that she understands Luz's ambitions.

"In the beginning I was very upset. I wasn't expecting this at all. But we are still friends and we still talk. I understand his view because I want to have success as well. So I'm not going to have fits of jealousy or try to hinder his life," said Siqueira.

However later she clarified her statement by saying that Luz is a "very mature" person and is not having an affair with the singer merely for publicity purposes.

Siqueira said that Luz had described Madonna as a "wonderful person" to her. "I honestly didn't want to ask for many details. Maybe because I am jealous. He says he is in a great phase of his life," she said.

Twenty-two-year old Luz's modelling career has been sky rocketing since the news of his relationship with Madonna spread. The singer has also introduced her young lover to her faith of Kaballah.
